The Apple Watch Series 12 with Milanese Loop pairs Apple’s latest health tracking hardware with one of its most refined band designs. The Milanese Loop is made from stainless steel mesh with a magnetic closure that lets you adjust the fit infinitely, rather than clicking into fixed holes, giving it a smooth, tailored feel on the wrist. S11 Chip and a Redesigned Health Sensing System

At the core of Series 12 is the new S11 chip, which is noticeably faster than previous generations for everyday use, from opening apps to responding to notifications to using Siri on your wrist. Alongside it, Apple introduced a redesigned heart rate sensor that delivers higher frequency heart rate and heart rate variability sensing, described by Apple as the most accurate heart rate sensing yet in a wearable device.

Series 12 introduces Readiness, a new daily score that analyzes your recent activity, training load, vitals and sleep to give you a clearer sense of how prepared your body is for the day ahead. The Milanese Loop Band

The Milanese Loop on Series 12 is made with 60 percent recycled stainless steel and 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in its magnets, finished with a PVD coating. It comes in three colors, each matched to a specific case finish: Dark Bronze, which pairs with the Dark Bronze Aluminum case, and Natural or Radiant Gold, which pair with their matching Titanium case finishes. The magnetic closure means you can fine tune the fit in seconds, making it easy to adjust throughout the day.

Case Materials and Durability

The Dark Bronze Aluminum case is built with Ceramic Shield 2 on the front crystal, which Apple states is 60 percent tougher than the Ion-X glass used on the previous generation. The Titanium cases use a sapphire front crystal for added scratch resistance and are 3D printed from aerospace grade titanium powder. Both the Aluminum and Titanium cases are made from 100 percent recycled metal.

Display

Series 12 features an Always On Retina display with wide angle OLEDs and LTPO3 technology, reaching up to 2000 nits of peak brightness, so the screen stays clear and easy to read indoors, outdoors and in direct sunlight.

Connectivity and Everyday Use

Choose between GPS only models, which rely on a paired iPhone for cellular features, or GPS plus Cellular models, which let you make calls, send messages and stream music directly from your wrist, even without your phone nearby. Series 12 runs watchOS 27, Apple’s latest smartwatch software, bringing refreshed Siri capabilities and continued support for Apple’s full health and fitness ecosystem.
